STEP #4 - How Do You Want Your Final Files?

Last step! Choose how you want your final files delivered to you via ftp or email. We need to know the EXACT size of the final movie(s). Typically this would be the same size as the webpage cell that it'll be dropped into.

Our broadcast encoding systems are extremely versatile when it comes to options so we want to be very clear as to what it is specifically that you need. However, through experience and trial & error we have created a series of "pre-sets" that are about as optimized for the web as you can get. So don't worry about all those options! We can deliver video files to you exactly as you have experienced here on this website.

Most common formats are as follows:

Flash Video (.flv)

A file format used to deliver video over the Internet to the Adobe Flash Player. Flash Video is viewable on most operating systems, via the Macromedia flash player or one of several third-party programs such as Media Player Classic (With the ffdshow codec installed), MPlayer, VLC media player (since version 0.8.4a), and FLV Player.

Flash Movie (.swf)

A proprietary vector graphics file format produced by the Adobe Flash software. Intended to be small enough for publication on the web, SWF files can contain animations or applets of varying degrees of interactivity and function. The Flash program produces SWF as the compressed and uneditable final product, whereas it uses the .fla format for its editable working files.

Windows Media Video (.wmv)

Windows Media file with Audio and/or Video (WMV): You can use a .wmv file either to download and play files or to stream content. The .wmv file format is similar to the .asf file format.

Quicktime Movie (.mov)

QuickTime Content (.mov, .qt) - a file format developed by Apple Computer to create, edit, publish, and view multimedia files. QuickTime supports video, animation, graphics, 3D and virtual reality (VR).

Real Media (.ram)

Built around proprietary RealNetworks codecs, Real format excels at low to medium bandwidth clips. It supports MPEG-4. Producers can use the SMIL language to add interactivity.
MPG1, MPG2, MPG4, AVI & Uncompressed These are additional formats that we can encode but typically not used on the internet due to their large file sizes.   >>>Read more<<<
